Review: Bodycology Nourishing Body Cream (“Wild Poppy”)

I requested a sample of this product, hoping to find a good body cream that doesn’t require a trip to Bath & Body Works.  (I’ve kind of boycotted them due to lots of parabens in their products, but still go occasionally if I have a too-good-to-resist coupon.)  Here’s my review…

Pros:  Paraben-free.  Made in USA.  Moisturizes as well as lots of other products.  Contains aloe, shea butter, and vitamins A & C.

Cons:  Strongly fragranced. (This might be a “pro”, depending on how much fragrance you like.)  I’m not in love with this particular fragrance, but I’m kind of picky.  “May contain” a lot of artificial dyes.  Probably not good for sensitive skin.

In Summary:  For the money, this is a pretty good body cream.  It’s not nearly as good as Trilipiderm, but it’s way less expensive and way easier to get.  If I didn’t already have a huge stockpile of body creams to get through, I might go out and buy this one – in a different fragrance.

Rating:  3.5 out of 5 stars

Price:  approx $5 for 8 oz.

Available at:  WalMart,, Walgreens, Ulta, Target & (note:  “Wild Poppy” fragrance not yet available online)
